<p>Animal style, 4 x 4, protein style, flying dutchmen. If any of these sound familiar, then you&#8217;ve by now discovered In N Out&#8217;s &#8220;<a title="Secret Menu" href="http://www.in-n-out.com/secretmenu.asp" target="_blank">secret menu</a>&#8220;.</p>
<p>The popular hamburger chain has been synonymous with some of the finest burger cuisine since 1948. Their menu has been unchanged since it&#8217;s inception, but with a little word of mouth, there is a ton of variety to be had beyond a standard cheeseburger with fries.<span id="more-9"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-20" title="innout_2" src="http://www.sighttasting.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/innout_2.jpg" alt="innout_2" width="600" height="374" /></p>
<p>As soon as I heard about a &#8220;fried mustard and chopped chilis&#8221; burger at In N Out, I bolted out the door to check it out. My usual order is a hamburger, animal style with extra lettuce and tomatoes, but I wanted to try the &#8220;fried mustard and chopped chilis&#8221; burger as is so here we go!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21" title="innout_3" src="http://www.sighttasting.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/innout_3.jpg" alt="innout_3" width="600" height="400" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center; ">
<p>Yup. There&#8217;s nothing really fancy from the looks of things, but this burger sure does taste significantly different than any In N Out burger I&#8217;ve ever had.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-23" title="innout_5" src="http://www.sighttasting.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/innout_5.jpg" alt="innout_5" width="600" height="400" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center; ">
<p style="text-align: center; ">The &#8220;fried mustard&#8221; is an additional layer of very tangy mustard just below the burger patty. The chopped chilis part is pretty much what you&#8217;d imagine it to be. Chopped chilis mixed in with their sauce that adds an awesome kick to the burger. For me, mustard was a tad too strong since all I could taste was the mustard, but if you&#8217;re a big mustard fan, by all means go for it. The chopped chilis are an awesome addition and will become part of my standard order of:</p>
<p style="text-align: center; ">Combo #3, animal style, extra lettuce, extra tomatos, onions, chopped chilis and well done fries <img src='http://www.sighttasting.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
